HOME WATCH CAREGIVERS My wife and I have been married 68 years and live in a very comfortable mobile home in Rohnert Park. We decided a few years ago that we wanted to continue living here as long as possible. My wife was diagnosed with early stages of dementia, and I have been her caregiver ever since. We are both 88 years old, which has taken its toll on us both, so we recognized the need for outside help to continue living in our home. With help from my wife’s doctor and social worker, we received a list of qualified caregivers in Sonoma County. Our family helped to review the list and selected a couple of the agencies for an in-home interview after which we could see that both agencies were offering basically the same kind of service with one main difference being the flexibility in the number of required hours needed to be hired on a weekly basis. We decided that Homewatch Caregivers of Santa Rosa best met our needs in that we wanted to begin this process on a slower scale, and that adding hours later on was preferable to the other way around. We are delighted with our caregiver, who works 2 hours on Mondays and Thursdays. She is very caring and efficient in all that she does. We developed a list of our needs and have encouraged her to be involved and incorporate her interests and talents in helping us. Peace of Mind with Homewatch
My husband received home health services through Homewatch for two months after a serious fall. Our caregiver helped with his meals, daily living activities, physical therapy exercises, and monitored his safety. Without this help, I wouldn’t have been able to leave the house to shop or go to appointments. Our caregiver treated us both with much appreciated dignity and respect. Impressed with High Quality of Care
I am so impressed with the high quality of care provided to my father by HomeWatch CareGivers. We have been working with HWCG for approximately a year after my aging father needed temporary nursing assistance. At that point, he was also showing the beginning stages of dementia/Alzheimer’s. I live out of the area and had to interview and hire help for my father from long distance. I interviewed multiple services and the decision was easy to make. The owner and staff did everything possible to put me at ease and alleviate my concerns. Now that my father has recovered from his medical condition, we have continued our relationship with HWCG to give my stepmother a well-deserved break. His HWCG helps him schedule his doctors’ appointments, accompanies him to his appointments, takes him shopping and to lunch. He has a wonderful time and everyone in the house feels less stressed. We absolutely plan to continue our relationship with HWCG as they offer several levels of care. The management and staff are a pleasure to work with and I know that if there was a need, they would do everything they could to help my family. I’m very grateful to the owner and staff!!! I give them the highest possible recommendation!!!

Quality Care Since May
Homewatch CareGivers have been taking care of my 92-year-old mother-in-law since the beginning of May. They were there when she got out of assisted living after a month of care due to a major fall. They have been providing quality care ever since. We have had changes in medicines, amount of care, hours needed, etc., and the team is always pleasant and able to make adjustments. My MIL looks forward to the 'girls' arrivals and has totally settled into receiving help because they make her feel special and cared for. I must mention the owner, Ranjana, who is always on the other end of a text or email when we have additional needs for my MIL. Debbie, the manager, is also always available to help with scheduling.
