My dad was pretty resistant to someone coming into his space, but after a couple sessions he really felt comfortable with the caregiver. She understood how he was and just let him warm up to her being there. I forget her name, but she has been a big help around the house. She helps my dad do his laundry and makes him a nice lunch. I highly recommend Homewatch CareGivers.

Caregivers were superb
Homewatch CareGivers of Huntington Newport Beach provided excellent caregivers and services for a month after I had major surgery. At the beginning, they were very flexible in changing the start date when my discharge was delayed. The two caregivers I had were superb. Both had considerable training and experience as caregivers. Cindy was right on top of things when I came home and focused on detailed information and support. Julie was equally superb in supporting me as I grew stronger and wanted to be more independent. She was very easy to be with and provided superb standby support that allowed me to be safely independent. In addition, the entire office staff was available and helpful whenever I contacted them.

I needed a caregiver for my 93-year-old mom and found Homewatch after going through an enormous, overwhelming list of so many. I just didn't know who to choose. I tried one company, but they wanted me to sign a contract before they would even come out. Then my mom's physician told me about Homewatch CareGivers. By the end of the week, I had someone in her home taking care of her. They love each other. My mom calls me when the girl is off and wants to know when she is coming again. I miss her. She is outstanding. Kyle is the owner and came out to explain everything in detail. He was so kind and helpful to me as I had been my mom's caregiver for 20 years now. I became sick and needed someone fast. Kyle helped me find the perfect person. I also love her. She helps me with everything. I am no longer my mom's caregiver; I am now her daughter! I wish I would have found them years ago as it's made such a difference in my life with my husband and my mom's. They are truly the best at what they do. I had tried another company before Homewatch and it was a disaster! I am truly so happy to have found them. They really care. We will not leave. The price was right for what you get. No overcharging.

Homewatch has been caring for our 100-year-old mom for two years now... Cannot say enough good things about the integrity, professionalism, and caring this company provides. Kyle and Glenda are always available for any issues and address any problems as quickly as possible. Communication is key in situations like this, and they are always aware of what's going on and go above and beyond to make everything comfortable and safe. Sometimes there are adjustments that need to be made.. seniors are notoriously picky about personality conflicts, especially with in-home caregivers.. The girls from Homewatch are very caring and flexible... it's not just caring or supervision; it's companionship, and that is the big difference with Homewatch. We are very grateful to have found them.
