We have had help from Homewatch for many years. When my parents were still living in their house, someone came to help with showers and laundry. For the last 4 years, they have helped my dad, now living in a senior community apartment. They all are very nice people. We are very grateful for the way they care for my dad, keeping him safe and happy. They help with meals, baths, dressing, shaving, etc. We have Sam and Laurie on the night shift, who keep him repositioned to prevent bed sores. Miro and Heidi have been with us for several years. They go the extra mile to keep him comfortable: foot baths, physical therapy, and just plain fun. We have 3 newer caregivers who are very interested in doing the best for my dad: Michael, William, and Yolanda. We really appreciate the special attention from them all. Homewatch has been tremendous at keeping us fully staffed over the years. Thank you!

I’ve been incredibly happy with the service from my caregivers. I need assistance with showering, and they’ve made the process so much smoother and safer. They transfer me from my power chair to the shower, help with bathing, and assist with dressing. What used to take an hour and a half now takes just 30 to 45 minutes—and the risk of injury has dropped dramatically. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone who’s struggling with mobility or looking for dependable, compassionate help.

HomeWatch is great!
HomeWatch is great! Melissa has coordinated the 24-hour care for my stepmother, and she has been with us every step of the way. Everything is explained, and she is always available if we have questions or concerns. Caregivers Kim and the others are patient, kind, and they work so well with my stepmother. I would highly recommend HomeWatch to all of my friends who are looking for in-home care.
EDIT July 10, 2025: Still using HomeWatch, and the caregivers are great. Janet, Jess, Gabe, Sabrina...all wonderful, caring people, though my dad and stepmother aren't always the easiest to take care of! We are truly blessed to have these wonderful people in their (and our) lives!

My family was so fortunate to find Homewatch CareGivers of Crystal Lake, IL. We previously had some difficulties with a different caregiving agency. With Homewatch, we had the very best caregivers, as well as truly excellent service from their Crystal Lake office, particularly from Carrie Raz.
The caregivers from Homewatch went over and above, not only in excellent and competent care for Dad, but also as kind and friendly companions to him. Everything Dad needed, his caregivers were there for. They had compassion, integrity, knowledge, willingness, and the resourcefulness to deal with any difficulties that might arise. The office staff was also great to work with in every way. Dad presented a few difficulties, and Homewatch management put in extra effort to work around problems.
His caregivers watched out for Dad’s safety and needs, but didn’t smother him. They encouraged independence while always being there for him. They were the best in every way.
As I live a distance away, I would stay at Dad’s house when I visited. I had the opportunity to get to know his caregivers and also to see their day-to-day interactions with Dad. They were always wonderful with him. We were so lucky to have such great care for Dad.

Sabrina (our caretaker) and Carrie (our coordinator) are AMAZING. Kind, Gentle, and Respectful Caregivers
My dad has been in hospice care for 2 months today. He has 8 caregivers 22 hours a day. Jaiden and Crystal have been so kind, gentle, and respectful of both my dad and mom. They have also filled in for other caretakers when needed. My family really appreciates all they do. I'd like to mention Sara as well. I work in a Skilled Nursing Facility and Homewatch Caregivers is my preferred caregiver company. As someone who people rely on to make recommendations for their loved ones, I take caregivers and home care very seriously. Homewatch has wonderful staff; I love working with Carrie and Jill. They are quick to respond, meet with guests and their families while they're at the facility, and really take time to get to know the person and their needs in order to best match the caregiver with the person. If you're looking for a new career or continuing in the field of caregiving, Homewatch Caregivers is the place to be. Just finished orientation and I felt I learned and developed more skills than I walked in the door with. My trainer Brittany was very informative and answered all the questions I had. I felt I learned a lot in this 8-hour orientation. They feed you lunch too :) They also show a lot of compassion towards their clients and staff.
